Private Events - Star Union Spirits

Located off the grand staircase and Atrium of the Historic Westclox Factory, Star Union Spirits Tasting Room is a dynamic venue for private events.

Whether it be for pre-nuptial dinners, reunions, weddings, rotary or other memorable gatherings, the Tasting Room blends a pre-prohibition industrial speakeasy feel with rustic reborn. The unique, cozy space features a cocktail style capacity of 50, allowing it to accommodate decent sized gatherings.

Whether it be a fashion show or wedding, the Tasting Room can hold up to 60 people in cocktail style or somewhat less with sit down tables.

The bar, elbow ledge and floating wood ceiling were custom sanded from reclaimed 200-year-old barn wood to add a soft touch to the factory building. These wood surfaces were wrapped with old reclaimed iron to add additional character.

Abundant 15-foot windows line the walls of the production space, showering the Production and Tasting Rooms with incredible natural light, which offers park-like treetop views.

A front bar encased in the barn wood and its top salvaged from a Westclox factory bowling alley lane includes reclaimed window frames as its foot rails. The back bar soap stone is reclaimed from the old Westclox laboratory.

The beautiful and elegant grand style chandelier adds more bling to soften the room.

Other features include a phenomenal view of the production area through 20 feet of windows, to the Copper Still, the Fermenters, the Barrels, the Brewery Museum and the original Westclox production table being re-used for current production of spirits.

When the automatic glass garage door is taken up, the capacity also goes up, way up and the possibilities are virtually endless.

The Atrium can be added to the Tasting Room through Star Union Spirits, who will coordinate with the building’s owner.
